If you missed the perfect moment in the “Friends” reunion, you’re forgiven — Lisa Kudrow even admits she almost missed it herself.
In this beloved series, Lisa Kudrow, the actress who played Phoebe Buffay, told “E! News” that her co-star David Schwimmer had to point out the moment to her when they watched the HBO Max special. HBO Max (owned by CNN’s parent company) is a network owned by Time Warner.
Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow joined Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc in the star-studded reunion. Kudrow said Cox is usually not emotional, but she “crumbled into tears (on the set).”…
Kudrow said, “I grab a napkin or tissue. LeBlanc takes it since he is telling us stories and doesn’t want to skip a beat, so he starts dabbing her eyes just on automatic.”
It was a very endearing scene. Kudrow said, “That’s who we were!” The original NBC series ran from 1994 to 2004 and has since been highly successful in syndication and streaming services. Surprisingly, “Friends” still attracts a good audience today.
