Summary :

 

Marguerite can never make up her mind. She always says yes. As a result, she’s got three fiancés (Rodolphe, an exuberant Russian pianist; Vermeulen shy and dull; Bechade son, agricultural-machine Manufacturer )

Each of them is promised to her. Forced to make a choice for fear of being accused of polygamy, she turns towards Carlos, her childhood friend who helps her to break and replaces Marguerite’s lack of will
